Alpaca Walk & Talk

Ever wanted to walk an alpaca? Join us for our Alpaca Walk & Talk, where you'll get firsthand experience in handling, leading, and interacting with these curious and gentle animals.

Schedule: Walks are Everyday All Year-Round

  • Morning: 10:30AM-11:00AM

  • Afternoon: 2:30PM-3:00PM

 

In the summer months, our 10:30am walks are unavailable on Tuesday and Friday mornings due to our scheduled Alpaca Yoga classes.

Private Walks: Available by appointment - register here

  • $120: Up to 2 people ($40 per additional guest)

  • 30-minute guided session on alpaca handling and care

  • Hands-on experience walking and leading an alpaca

  • Learn about alpacas—their history, fleece, and behavior

  • Time for photos & interactions with the herd

  • Complimentary farm admission after the walk

This one-of-a-kind experience offers the perfect opportunity to see how soft alpaca fleece is, get up close to these gentle animals, and learn why alpacas are so special.

How Pricing Works

One adult (18+) is required to lead an alpaca for $30. Once you have your alpaca, you can choose to either walk your alpaca solo or share with friends/family for an additional $20 (per person).

 

Examples:

  • Solo Walker: 1 Adult + 1 Alpaca = $30

 

  • Couple Sharing: 2 Adults + 1 Alpaca = $50
    ($30 for the first adult + $20 for the guest)

 

  • Family of 4: 1 Adult + 3 Kids + 1 Alpaca = $90
    ($30 for the adult + $60 for the 3 guests)

 

Children (Under 18): For safety, kids cannot lead an alpaca alone. They must be added as "Sharing Guests" to an adult's alpaca.

Important Info:​

​Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to sign in and get ready.

​

Closed-toe shoes required for all participants.

​

Alpaca walks take place in direct sunlight, so please come prepared with sunscreen and any other sun protection you may need.

 

Weather Policy: We’ll contact you by phone on the day of your walk if your session is canceled due to weather.

 

No late arrivals: Sorry, we cannot accommodate late guests.

 

Restroom Access: No public restrooms, but a porta-potty is available.

 

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be given if a walk is canceled by the farm. Please make note; no refunds for cancellation unless you cancel or rescheduled your attendance up to 2 weeks or more before the scheduled program date. 

 

Rescheduling is only available with at least two weeks' notice.
