Arias has fine fiber with a very lustrous crimp, a perfect bite and conformation. Her sire, the multiple champion CCNF Archangel, is a legend in his time. He has won over eight national championships, and is considered "the complete package" by many. (As of 2008 Archangel is no longer be offered for inside OR outside breeding).

Her dam Snowmass Midnight's Gold has also produced show-stoppers. (Her first daughter was the highest paid maiden alpaca in the world, at that time, selling for $100,000 at auction). Truly amazing!

Arias was bred to CCNF Royal Odin, son of Royal Rose, and grandson of the world famous, Peruvian Hemingway, G171 revealing a beautiful summer 2009 cria, a male, named Orion. Arias herself has Peruvian Hemingway as her great grand-sire. This has resulted in a wonderful offspring given this genetic connection.

Orion's sire, CCNF Royal Odin received the Blue at Big "E" then turned around and was awarded the Blue and Reserve Color Champion at the Coastal Classic. As if that weren't enough he received another Blue in the Fawn category at the fleece competition! Odin was awarded the Blue at Empire and Second at the highly competitive Green Mountain Show in Vermont.

SIRE (FATHER)

Quarry Ridge Madigan

Madigan has correct conformation, with strong bone and an excellent bite. His very dense, black fiber is silky, and buttery soft with a fine, high-frequency crimp. Madigan is extremely friendly and his curly face attracts the attention of many farm visitors. Judge Wade Gease has commented on how wonderful his crimp style was.. from the tips of the staple all the way down!

He is a true black, out of a Canadian dam and the 2004 AOBA Reserve Black Champion. His paternal grand sire is the renowned Black Shadow and his dam was Reserve Champion at the Empire Extravaganza the only time she was shown.
